🐾 Companions & Rescue Signals

Recruit iconic wasteland followers, level their affinity, and equip one active companion to help your survivor across combat, scavenging, expeditions, and settlements. Fisto has joined the recruitable roster.

Rescue Encounters: Use /rescue to fight off slavers and roll for survivors, loot, traps, or rare companions.
Settlement Companion Slot: Use /settlement companion to assign, remove, or check the follower helping your settlement.
Settlement Radio Beacon: Build a beacon, then use /settlement collect for a low chance to catch rescue signals.
Progression: Companions gain XP and affinity from battles, expeditions, nuke events, and rescue outcomes.

Fishing & Fish Bits

Cast a line across Appalachia with bait tiers, regional catches, special weather, and a quick Hook-button minigame. Fish go into your inventory first; clean them when you want Fish Bits.

Learn the Waters: /fish guide shows your bait, weather rules, monthly axolotls, and available regions.
Cast and Hook: /fish cast consumes Common, Improved, or Superb Fishing Bait, then asks you to hook the catch before it gets away.
Clean and Cook: Use /fish clean to turn caught fish into Fish Bits. Eat Fish Bits for a small heal and small radiation gain, or craft Grilled Fish, Fish and Tatos, and Fish Chowder.

Gleaming Depths Raids

Raid teams can breach the Vulcan facility in five gated stages, with key items unlocking each deeper sector.

Raid Status: /raid status lists your cleared stages, requirements, rewards, and final-stage cooldown.
Stage Progression: /raid start covers EN06 Guardian, Drill Defense, Epsilon Squad, Vulcan Lab, and Ultracite Terror.
Group Combat: Other players can join the lobby, surviving players earn rewards, and the Stage 5 leader cooldown is currently 2 hours.

Resource Management: Balance Power, Water, and Food production to keep your happiness high.
